Work and borings!

An illustration done for the non logged in page of Gaia Online (my current employerrrrr). A style I'm not really used to doing, so I had to channel my inner Ethe XD! Was quite fun, though there are definitely some gigantic issues with perspective here LOL. By the time I noticed it was...too late :/.

Still life D:. I rarely ever do this. I should do it more. More. More. More. A majority of my art is "instinctual" which probably makes me much slower than I could be, and more prone to having to fix junk later in the process. Personally I think finding a balance between instinct and technical understanding is best :D

Great art. As an art student I find myself with very similar problems to yours, I think the lack of proper study of still life, perspective, and all those basics are the main problem here in Brazil, so I find myself kind of lost and having to catch that up all by myself. Despite of that you seem to be doing very well with your studies, great job! ^^

Boo!! Haha, I found your blog on accident while googling for reference. In fact, I went through quite the stupidly slow mental sequence of "huh, that's cool. That looks kinda familiar. I wonder who this Jen person is. huh, I know someone named Jen. Huh. OHHHH."

And - yeah I need to do more of that too, I went figure drawing this weekend and saw just how out of practice I am : /

The perspective in that makes it better imo.

I'm not sure exactly why but this weblog is loading extremely slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end? I'll check
back later and see if the problem still exists.
